60 in Cap Cana – Sunshine, Scape Park & So Much Joy
For my 60th birthday, I decided to skip the cake and candles at home and head somewhere warm, sunny, and unforgettable—Hyatt Zilara in Cap Cana. From the moment I walked in, it felt like paradise. My swim-up room meant I could literally step out the door and be in the pool within seconds. The staff made me feel like I was the only guest there. Mornings were all about the breakfast buffet and a Big Thank You to Willie who had our favorite chairs ready for us each morning. The drinks never stopped and the food was amazing!
We took a leap and traded the pool view for a little adventure. Scape Park was calling! Zip-lining over the jungle, swimming in crystal-clear cenotes, and even taking a dip under a waterfall—it was one of those days where you can’t stop smiling. Honestly, I forgot I was turning 60 until I remembered how much sunscreen I’d packed.
